OWLCX provides access to alternative credit as a ticker-traded interval fund focused on asset-based finance (ABF). The fund seeks to generate current income, risk mitigation, and diversify investors’ credit allocations.
Since inception, Class I shares have delivered an annualized distribution rate of 9.5%1 and annualized total return of 11.7%2, outperforming US Leveraged Loans by 6.1% 3, US High Yield by 4.1% 3 and US Aggregate by 6.2%3 on an annualized basis. We believe these results reflect what we set out to deliver – income-driven exposure to asset-based finance, specifically financial and hard assets, which we believe have the potential to offer stability and risk mitigation with portfolios.
This performance chart is specific to the 1-year anniversary of Class I shares. To access full performance for all share classes, please click here.
Distribution payments are not guaranteed. Blue Owl Alternative Credit Fund may pay distributions from sources other than cash flow from operations, including, without limitation, the sale of assets, borrowings, return of capital, offering proceeds, and advances or the deferral of fees and expense reimbursements. The annualized distribution rate shown is calculated by annualizing the most recent monthly distribution per share, excluding any special distributions (based on dividing the number of calendar days in the year by the number of calendar days over which the most recent distribution accumulated) and dividing that amount by the end-of-month NAV. The annualized distribution rate should not be confused with yield or performance. It is not a projection, target return, or indication of future results and may differ materially from future distributions. No distributions paid were classified as a return of capital for the month ending May 31, 2026. For further information, please see our SEC filings at www.sec.gov.
Past performance is not a guarantee of future results. Assumes an initial investment on the business day before the first day of the fiscal period and investment held through the last business day of the fiscal period. Total return is calculated based on the change in quoted market price of the fund’s shares, taking into account dividends reinvested in accordance with the terms of the dividend reinvestment plan or lacking such plan, at the lesser of net asset value or market price on the dividend distribution date (total investment return computed based on net asset value per share may also be presented if the difference in results between the two calculations is explained). Returns greater than one year are annualized. Returns reflect reinvestments of distributions and the deduction of ongoing expenses that are borne by investors, such as management fees, incentive fees, servicing fees, interest expense, offering costs, professional fees, director fees and other general and administrative expenses. Operating expenses may vary in the future based on the amount of capital raised, the Adviser’s election to continue expense support, and other unpredictable variables. Total returns based on the inception of each share class; for performance purposes, the inception date of the fund was the commencement of the private offering: May 2025 for the Class I Share. Class I Shares do not have upfront fees.
The performance calculation for the months of May, June, and July 2025 does not include the Management Fee and Incentive Fee which was voluntarily waived during such period. The Fund’s public registration statement went effective on August 28th, 2025; performance subsequent to such date will take into account the Management Fee and Incentive Fee.
The performance data shown above does not reflect the deduction of such a sales load or fee, and if reflected, the load or fee would reduce the performance quoted.
OWLCX is designed to invest in the core, income-oriented areas of asset-based finance, both financial and hard assets with underlying collateral, rather than traditional credit exposure. As markets continue to evolve, we believe this differentiated positioning offers investors a compelling complement to existing portfolio allocations. We are proud of the foundation established during OWLCX's first year and the combination of the Fund's early performance and the depth of expertise across the Blue Owl Alternative Credit strategy positions OWLCX well for the future.
OWLCX’s portfolio provides investors access to a large and underpenetrated segment of the private credit market, supported by a growing opportunity set.
Past performance is not representative of future results.
